There Are Several Raw Materials For Synthesizing Quartz Stone Plates?

Quartz is a mineral resource with very stable physical and chemical properties. Quartz stone is currently a abbreviation for the boards produced by quartz stone manufacturers. Due to the high content of quartz, which is the main component of the boards, it is called quartz stone.
The main synthetic raw materials for quartz stone board are quartz sand, quartz powder, unsaturated polyester resin, glass particles, color paste, curing agent, and coupling agent.

The requirements for quartz sand and quartz powder as raw materials for quartz stone sheets are:
Quartz sand: The particles are uniform, without impurities or foreign objects, and cannot contain metal iron or wind fossils.
Quartz powder: The fineness is required to be 325 to 400 mesh, and the whiteness is required to be ≥ 95 degree (mixed with resin and quartz powder to form a paste, and it is required to be white or semi transparent and qualified. Blackening and yellowing are considered unqualified).

Looking at other auxiliary materials of quartz stone board:

1. Resin: Full name: Unsaturated polyester resin, polymer solid content ≥ 65%, resin viscosity 850~1200Mpa. s (adjusted according to temperature), resin heating peak temperature: 160 ℃~170 ℃, appearance: quartz stone special resin, colorless, impurity free, semi transparent liquid.
2. Color paste: It is required to use color paste directly, as the color powder cannot be completely dispersed, which can cause color difference in the board.
3. Glass particles: Transparent glass, required to be free of broken paper, debris, and other miscellaneous glass particles. Mirror glass: required to not fade, with a uniform gray and white background.

Quartz stone board is a green new type of indoor decoration material for buildings, which is reusable and environmentally friendly. It should be pointed out that the quality of quartz stone is directly related to the content of resin. The higher the content of quartz in quartz, the lower the resin content, and the better the quality. The closer it is to nature, the less likely it is to deform. The quality requirements of raw materials for quartz stone plates are very strict, which leads to a higher price of quartz stone compared to other stones
